If the band needs to stay visible through the screen, 35 percent usually does the job. If the screen doubles as a daylight window display, you need a different configuration.
Do not pay extra for a number. Pay for the combination that survives your venue.
Brightness decides what the camera sees
Brightness on a transparent LED screen rental is measured in nits. Indoor panels run 1,500 to 3,500 nits. Outdoor panels need 4,500 nits or more.
Peak brightness is only half the story. Black level and refresh rate matter just as much. Black LEDs keep dark areas dark, so content stays readable. For filmed events, 3,840 Hz keeps scan lines off camera. A panel that looks fine to the eye can look terrible on a phone when the refresh rate is low.
Ask for the brightness at the pitch you are renting, not the maximum of the range.
Pixel pitch and viewing distance
Transparent LED screen rental panels usually run P3.9, P5.2 or P6.25. Pitch sets the minimum viewing distance. P3.9 looks sharp from about four meters. P6.25 works from ten or more.

Cabinet weight and rigging
